Dear Windermere Families,

Welcome to the start of something exceptional!

Whether it’s your child’s first year or last at Windermere, I know they will strengthen their academic talents, develop healthy social skills, and create life-long friendships. A new school year provides the opportunity to restart, learn, create, and elevate all of our unique talents.

This year we will continue to focus on the legacy that is Windermere! We will dig in deeper to our core values: Respect, Inclusivity, Self Control, and Elevating Excellence. We will continue our motto of “We are Windermere! We RISE to the Top!”  Every child, staff member, and family will work towards creating community connections that tie us together for the foreseeable future. It will take every single one of us to give our best for our children this year and I am dedicated to leading our Windermere Family towards continued success!

This will be my eighth year serving you as Windermere’s Principal and I am still honored to be living this dream with you and your family. Together in partnership, I am confident we will work as a team to ensure your child has the best school experience possible. I think you’ll find there is a lot of love and dedication within these Windermere walls to give every child the very best we can. We are Windermere! It’s what we strive to do each day.

With excitement for the journey ahead,
Jennifer Hill

Welcome back, Windermere families! As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am proud to stand alongside Principal Jennifer Hill in supporting the strong values that make Windermere such a special place to learn and grow. Principal Hill’s message beautifully reflects who we are as a community, and I am excited to help bring our R.I.S.E. principles to life each day—being Respectful, Inclusive, practicing Self-control, and working together to Elevate our Excellence.

Our students bring so much curiosity, kindness, and joy to our school, and it is an honor to partner with our dedicated staff and families to help every child thrive. I look forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, collaboration, and countless moments where our Windermere community shines.

Warmly,
JoAnna Schmidt
